On the occasion of the 30^th anniversary of the International Model Forest Network, the Ifrane Model Forest Association (AFMI) has organized a series of activities for middle and high school students dedicated to environmental education and communication.

On the occasion of the 30th anniversary of the International Model Forest Network, the Ifrane Model Forest Association (AFMI) is organizing a series of activities for middle and high school students dedicated to environmental education and communication. This initiative aims to make young people aware of sustainable development through the practice of journalism and to understand the concept of Model Forest.

On November 13, the "Festival of Forests and forest fruits" was be held in Brgudac (Croatia). The festival is was organized by the Municipality of Lanišće, the Istria Model Forest and the Babucera Association.

Between 24 and 28 October two delegations from Morocco and Lebanon were hosted in Tuscany (Italy), for the exchange of good practices related to forest restoration and sustainable management of the territory thanks to two important projects dedicated to forests.

Between 26 – 28 September the ONEforest consortium celebrated its second General Assembly Meeting of 2022 in Ljubljana, hosted by the University of Ljubljana - Biotechnical Faculty, to discuss the progress and developments carried out so far.

On 13 and 14 October, in the municipality of Itzer (Morocco), on the initiative of the AREBICA Association (Amis de la Réserve de Biosphère du Cèdre de l'Atlas), an information seminar on the principles and objectives of the Model Forests will be held.
