Palencia - Candidate to be a Model Forest

The Palencia Model Forest Association, candidated to become a Model Forest, is located in Castilla y Leon, Spain.

The activity of the various Committees involved started as soon as the candidacy for the Model Forest was submitted.

The most active Committee was that relating to Forestry Activities, which proposed the implementation of a mycological park in the area of ​​the Palencia Model Forest Association, with the support of local entities. The association is taking the final steps to enter into an agreement for financial support.

The Culture Committee will collaborate with the cultural association "El Pendón de Poza de la Vega" for the declaration of "los pendones" as BIC (Bien de Interés Cultural).
