Ledigos hosts tree planting to celebrate International Day of Forests with the Palencia Model Forest

On April 9, 2025, the municipality of Ledigos in Palencia, Spain, celebrated the International Day of Forests with a symbolic tree planting event organized by the Palencia Model Forest. Originally scheduled for March but postponed due to heavy rains, the event featured the planting of 91 trees, each representing one of the 91 municipalities that comprise the Palencia Model Forest territory.

Tunisia joins the Mediterranean Model Forest Network with new initiative

A new step forward in the Sustainable Management of the Mediterranean Forest and landscapes has been taken with the official signing of the protocol for the Model Forest Initiative in Tunisia. From November 18 to 22, the 33rd Forum of the Red Latinoamericana de Bosques Modelo (RLABM) took place in the Abancay Model Forest, Peru.
