The Ifrane Model Forest has started an interesting dissemination work by preparing and sending detailed newsletter about the activities done in their territory.
The last one was dedicated to the closure of the "Characterization and re-enablement of traditional practices for biodiversity conservation in the Iguer Aouragh rangelands of the Middle Atlas (APAC Zaouia Ifrane)" project. The event was a great success, providing an opportunity to present in detail the results, recommendations and actions carried out.
Also the significant actions taken by the Association Foret Modèle - Ifrane (AFMI) to strengthen the Issoufar Zaouit Ifrane cooperative's capacity to preserve biodiversity were highlighted. Training, a stronger visual identity and additional resources have been put in place to improve the marketing of the cooperative's products.
The project has also contributed to the restoration of traditional biodiversity conservation practices in the Ifrane region. The progress made in preserving biodiversity and safeguarding local knowledge underlines the importance of a balanced approach between economic development and environmental protection.
