‍Two Model Forests among the organizations selected by SMURF Project Cascade Funding

 ‍

‍In September 2024 the SMURF project, a Horizon Europe initiative, launched its first call for cascade funding, offering up to €200,000 in grants to organizations of small forest owners. This funding aims to gather vital data on forest ownership, management, and opportunities across Europe.

Among the successful applicants there are two Model Forests of our Network that will now contribute to shaping sustainable, innovative business models for the future of small forest holdings.

Call for a Technical Specialist at FAO’s Global Fire Management Hub

 ‍

The Global Fire Management Hub is looking for consultants with diverse expertise in integrated fire management.

The selected Technical Specialist will support the development and implementation of guidelines, practical tools, and methodologies to promote Integrated Fire Management (IFM) through cross-sectoral and participatory approaches in alignment with relevant international agreements.

There are still few days to apply, the closure Date is 16/Jan/2025.
