Survey Preliminary Results: Mediterranean Model Forest Network and ecosystem services

In the last months of 2024, Annalisa Spalazzi, researcher and collaborator of the Valle dell’Aterno Model Forest, conducted an analysis on the perception, knowledge, and planning of ecosystem services in Mediterranean Model Forests.

The initial results from the questionnaires were presented in Barcelona during the Med Forum at the 8th Mediterranean Forest Week and are now available for download.

• The information sheets that were also distributed in paper format during the Mediterranean Forest Week in Barcelona in November 2024;
• A more detailed report on the findings;
• The poster that was displayed at the MED Forest Week;

This activity is part of a broader framework of participatory planning and funding analysis, including calls for proposals, aimed at developing projects that ensure the economic sustainability of ecosystem service in forest governance. The project is supported by the Development and Cohesion Fund 2014-2020, within the Operational Agriculture Plan, Sub-plan 3: 'Multifunctionality of the Forest and Sustainable Use of Renewable Resources in Rural Areas.
